The new Power Center developed in Ostróda by Acteeum ultimately completes commercialization and its shopping offer. The latest highlight of the process in the lease agreement, based on which Biedronka will join the Ostróda project. On an area of over 1,2000 sqm Biedronka will open a supermarket in its most modern format that will perfectly fit into the extremely attractive range of brands that will welcome customers in spring 2024.

Ostróda Power Center developed by Acteeum is the most attractive shopping center in the region, not only due to its huge scale and great location, but also thanks to the shopping offer it has already completed. The most appreciated and expected brands will be present in the facility. The latest to join the group of tenants is the grocery operator Biedronka, which will open a 1,260 sqm supermarket in the Ostróda shopping center, designed according to its most modern and customer-friendly standards.

The offer of Biedronka and other popular stores – including the first in Poland, the conceptual Castorama market – ensures that the attractiveness of the Power Center in Ostróda will be second to none. The project has also been joined by such well-known brands as New Yorker, Smyk, CCC, Sinsay, Cropp, House, Media Expert, Martes Sport, 4F, Komfort, Rossmann, Diverse, and several other brands are at the stage of signing contracts.

Particularly noteworthy is the extremely dynamic development progress of the project, which means that more than a year before the planned opening, almost the entire area has been leased, and construction works are starting on schedule. Thanks to this, the planned opening of the facility in spring 2024 will be an extraordinary success for both customers and tenants.

This is a very joyful and satisfying moment for us. Thanks to the signed lease agreement, the shopping offer of our project in Ostróda has almost been completed – and in a spectacular way! The largest and most modern Biedronka supermarket in the region is the highlight of the attractive, diverse and affordable offer of the facility, which will be available to the residents of Ostróda and the surrounding towns in the spring of next year. – says Mariusz Kowalczyk, Leasing Director, Acteeum Central Europe.

Ostróda Power Center will be the first and at the same time the largest shopping complex of this type in the region. The project has a valid building permit and the construction works will start in spring of 2023. It will be a facility with a total area of over 27,000 m² GLA, covering over 15,000 m² GLA of the retail park and a stand-alone Castorama House and Garden market.

Retail Park offer will include sores of such brands as Biedronka, New Yorker, Smyk, CCC, Sinsay, Cropp, House, Media Expert, Martes Sport, 4F, Komfort, Diverse, Rossmann and others. The complex will offer also additional services such as a drive-thru restaurant, gas station, electric vehicles charging facilities, car wash and over 700 parking spaces.

The complex will be constructed at the main entrance road to the city center, directly at the S7 expressway junction connecting Warsaw and Gdańsk, and the S16 leading to Olsztyn and Grudziądz. The location of the facility is also naturally perfectly connected with Ostróda urban area and the region. The catchment of Ostróda Power Center will cover over 120,000 inhabitants, over 500,000 tourists visiting the city annually as well as extremely intensive transit traffic on the S7 and S16 routes.

The opening of Ostróda Power Center is planned for the spring of 2024.
