Castorama has just joined the brands present in the Ostróda Power Center project developed by Acteeum. Thanks to the signed lease agreement, this well-known brand from the Home and Garden industry will open its first and only market in the region with an area of 10,000 m² in the most modern format.
Ostróda Power Center has a building permit and is at the stage of selecting the General Contractor, while the planned opening will take place in the fourth quarter of 2023. The commercialization of the facility has just exceeded 70%, and tenants have already confirmed their presence for the remaining space. The last contracts are being finalized, thanks to which 100% of commercialization will be achieved before the start of construction.
The popularity among tenants of Ostróda Power Center is growing every month. This is confirmed by subsequent leasing agreements’ signoffs expanding the group of tenants and welcoming new well-known and popular brands, among which there will be e.g. New Yorker, Smyk, CCC, Sinsay, Cropp, House, Diverse, Media Expert, Martes Sport, 4F, Rossmann, Empik, Komfort, Maxi Zoo and others. Tenants appreciate the greatest advantages of the project, i.e. a complementary offer, project size of 25,000 m² GLA, a large parking lot with over 700 spaces as well as location at the intersection of main roads, thanks to which the project brings a new quality to the commercial landscape not only of the city of Ostróda but also of the entire region.
The latest tremendous success in building the offer of the Ostróda shopping center was signing of a lease agreement with Castorama. Thanks to it, a large, stand-alone Castorama store with a total area of 10,000 m² will be situated here. Particularly noteworthy, the market in the Ostróda Power Center will be the first Castorama in Poland, constructed in an innovative drive-thru concept, where the customer can shop part of the assortment extremely efficiently, driving the car directly into the shopping zone.

Ostróda Power Center will be the first and at the same time the largest shopping complex of this type in the region. The project has a valid building permit. It will be a facility with a total area of over 25,000 m² GLA, covering over 15,000 m² GLA of the retail park, a stand-alone Castorama House and Garden market, as well as additional services such as a drive-thru restaurant, gas station, car wash and over 700 parking spaces.
The complex will be constructed at the main entrance road to the city center, directly at the S7 expressway junction connecting Warsaw and Gdańsk, and the S16 leading to Olsztyn and Grudziądz. The location of the facility is also naturally well connected with Ostróda urban area and the region. The direct reach of Ostróda Power Center will cover over 120,000 inhabitants as well as extremely intensive transit traffic on the S7 and S16 routes.
The opening of Ostróda Power Center is planned for the fourth quarter of 2023.
